MEMIOS' Automatic Waste Transport Systems (AWTS) are state-of-the-art solutions for moving  commercial and residential generated waste to remote or off-site collection centers.

How it works

MEMIOS Automatic Waste Transport Systems operate on simple pneumatic principles, controlled by State-of-the-Art technology. Waste is deposited into the system via a variety of load station receptacles designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Once the waste enters the Memios system it is automatically transported through a sealed piping network to collection areas that may be located up to 1.5 kilometers away where it is either collected, compacted and contained for hauling or processed in conjunction with the Automatic Waste Separation and Management System (AWSMS). The MEMIOS Automatic Waste Transport Systems generate sufficient air speeds and volume to move up to 200 metric tons of waste per day at speeds up to 30 meters per second. The path through the piping network is controlled by computer-operated valves which direct the waste to its final destination.

Compared to conventional trash collection methods, (manual labor or conveyor belt systems) apart from the logical costs savings, the other significant advantages of the system are the elimination of exposure to humans, building environments, and elimination of cross-contamination.

In commercial, residential or government properties, waste is collected in convenient locations. No more sharing of elevator space with waste carts and people.  Cross contamination is eliminated.  Environmental manpower is conserved, allowing for a less than 4 year payback for a typical system in labor stressed environments.

System performance and maintenance monitoring is accomplished by New State-of-the-art technology that allows for the overall system parameters to go across Internet Protocols for remote monitoring and support.
